"Winter Only" Boxes

From: norastaa (windytrail2000@yahoo.ca) | Date: 2004-10-20 04:20:23 UTC

I've read the posts about winter searching and am planning a
series of
"Frostbite Boxes". These will ONLY be available in the
winter, approx
Nov to end April. My rationale is to add some activity & interest to
boxing during the cold months esp up north here in Ontario Canada.
Now that the boats are being hauled out, tourists gone home and public
gardens put to bed I have lots of new hiding places that were just too
visible or busy before. Evergreens in city gardens are going to be
great I think! Of course all of these boxes will have to come home in
the spring. Most of the spots I have in mind will be driveby so even
on the most miserable day you can get out and box. I am also trying
to choose locations where deep snow will not be a problem. Has anyone
done "winter only" boxes before? Any thoughts? Norasta

I think it sounds great and am sorry I won't be getting up that way this
winter!
